I will try my best be as descriptive as possible.
I am someone who is goal oriented, but I will have fun while achieving them. I am intellectual, I can be of encouragement, and my worst habit is procrastination.
I am a positive thinker and I believe it is necessary to have an optimistic attitude and be persistent. I am not a religious person, but I am someone who is convicted of faith. I am an idealist with a realistic execution mold. I also love taking calculated risks. I love people and I believe real relationships require time to develop and nothing can be made overnight.
I do not believe in perfection, because there is no fun working on it. The best and the most painful aspect about relationship is trust, and being able to give your heart to someone and let them own it. I am very child like but not childish. I truly appreciate modesty, sincerity and humility.
Profession & Future Goals: I am an IT consultant and I have an engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics. I am going to pursue my masters in IT and business administration in the near future. I am a career oriented professional and I will continue this after marriage. I intend to balance family and professional life in a harmonious manner.
Expectations:
I am not good at describing what I want but I will say that I do not want the person to be a mirror reflection of myself. He should be a green card holder or a citizen, and see himself settling in the US.
In terms of attitude/personality, I freely accept the person as how God made him. I would love to be with someone who is tolerant of those around him and is confident in being himself. Being independent open minded is something I value. I am looking for someone with good family values and background. It is more important that he believes and has a purpose in life and is working towards that goal.
Age group, residency status, and academic record is an absolute mandate. It is a marriage of two families, therefore families to accept each other is highly important. He should have a good sense of humor.
What do I think about love?
It should be simple, yet it can change the way you function and think. Quite frankly I never grasped the falling in love idea. Love is a commitment and it a friendship with a different obligation. Being romantic is great, but being supportive is something I will value better.
Family Background: I moved to the states when I was 13 and I have resided in a small town in Massachusetts till I graduated high school. I did my bachelors in Boston MA, so essentially MA is my home. I am the older of two kids and I have a younger brother whom I am very close with. My parents are very dear to me.
