Ours is a small family. We are located in Delhi for the past 8 years only. Our native is Salem district but were settled in Kanchipuram since 1980. We still own a house there. Groom's father was a retired LIC employee, died in 2007. His mother is a house-wife, who is also a pensioner. He has only sister, who is happily married, also settled in Delhi with her husband and 10 year old daughter.

All we need is a loving and caring girl, who will not be a daughter-in-law, but a treasured daughter.

We do not have any expectations as dowry and we are strictly against it. We are O.K. with a middle class or lower middle class girl, provided the family is good and decent. Any sub-sect is o.k. with us. We do not insist that the girl should work or not before or after the marriage. It is upto the girl and we would not involve in that.
